Shoot 'Em Up

OK, so I just watched Shoot 'Em Up.

Hands down the best movie in the past decade.

Pointless, impossible, mindless, action shoot em up, ultimate guy flick.

If you have nothing to do for the evening, just trust me and get it.

Paul Giamatti as a bad guy? I'm in.

lol

It was one of the worst movies ever made. It's the kind of movie that's so bad, you actually enjoy watching it. As soon as I saw buddy kill a bad guy with a carrot, I knew I was in for an eye-rolling good time.

Starship Troopers 3 (just came out a couple weeks ago) falls in the same category. Not as funny, but certainly every bit as cheesy.

I am going to disagree entirely, not because I don't enjoy a shoot-'em-up movie once in a while (I *am*, after all, a military historian who watches gory death on a regular basis), but because this is exactly the kind of movie that would appeal to you.

If you want a real movie that gives you the correct mix of bloody violence and watching everyone's second-favorite genocidal maniac dictator going completely nuts in his bunker (Hitler), I suggest Downfall, mostly because watching the Nazis take it in the lederhosen is always good for a few larfs.

Especially knowing they then got to endure the Commies for fifty years. Talk about poetic justice.
